MitoCarn™ Sport
Research indicates that supplementing your diet with MitoCarn™ Sport may result in higher exercise tolerance and increased performance. MitoCarn™ Sport is a unique compound containing fumaric acid, which aids in the creation of ATP. Research also suggests that the active ingredient in MitoCarn™ Sport supports increased myocardial metabolism and a decrease in the Acyl-CoA concentration (including the reduced adenine nucleotide translocase inhibition that goes with it).*
This supports ATP transport from the mitochondria into the cytoplasm and the resulting accumulation of free CoA increases the metabolism of fatty acids and pyruvate.
While many studies have been conducted on the short-term effects of L-Carnitine on performance, the Loster study below extended the supplementation period to 120-days with statistically significant findings of systemic improvement leading to exercise tolerance and increased performance.

Supported Delivery Systems for Formulators
MitoCarn™ Sport is a combination of pure L-Carnitine and fumaric acid. This unique form of L-Carnitine is non-hygroscopic, making it ideal in the following formulations:

Int Jour of Clinical Pharmacology, Therapy and Toxicology, Vol. 23, No. 10, pp. 569-572, 1985. Summary: Supplementation with L-Carnitine increased the total exercise work load and maximum watts to onset of angina. Download pdf »
Loster, et al., Prolonged Oral L-Carnitine Substitution Increases Bicycle Ergometer Performance in Patients with Severe, Ischemically Induced Cardiac Insufficiency. Cardiovascular Drugs and Therapy. 1999. Summary: Prolonged 120-day study with high dosage on the effect of L-Carnitine on exercise performance in patients with advanced cardiac insufficiency. Positive findings indicate a systemic effect of L-Carnitine, including lowered exercise heart rate and systolic pressure and a peripheral effect on skeletal muscle. Download pdf »
